The Iranian oil upstream industry and the need for its more and rapid development, create this potential that various international E&P companies have expressed their interest in different aspects to participate in upstream projects in Iran, and over the past two years, many of them have signed a MOU with NIOC for studying the Iranian reservoirs. Meanwhile, due to the years of being sanctioned, Iran has been faced the lack of reputed companies in various fields. International companies’ presence in Iran is almost limited to E&P companies; however, in various fields, such as service companies, operational consulting companies (in geology, reservoir engineering, drilling, etc.), training companies, investment and financing companies, insurance companies, legal counseling companies, other major international companies or even smaller companies have not significantly entered Iran.
It should be noted that the presence of such companies will be of great help in raising the level of professional competition in the upstream industry of Iran, as well as the growth of Iranian companies.
With regard to these issues, the Iran E&P Congress and Exhibition, as the largest gathering of the Iranian oil and gas upstream industry, provide the best opportunity for foreign companies to examine the conditions of this industry in Iran, to become more familiar with investment opportunities, capabilities of Iranian companies, and the challenges of working in Iran.
In this regard, people and companies that are inclined to attend the event (at different levels of sponsorship, exhibiting or as a delegate) can register through the congress website.
